hey guys, im gonna write a book about a solider if i can , about a german solider, and have him serve in North africa, then transfered too france to fight at normady, and then maybe the ardennes aswell? i woudl like him to be Fallshirm if i can, was there a fallshirm regiment that served through all those?

Well I know a Fj. who belonged to Fj.Rgt. 5 in Africa, escaped capture and joined Fj.Rgt. 6 in France. This was part of 2 Fj.Div. Brittany and Normandy then to Russia. March 1944 he joined Fj.Rgt. 8 of 3 Fj.Div. and fought in Normandy and the Ardennes......

Those units would fit into your "guy"......his name was Willy!
