Handwritten text in Hermann Göring book

Hello,
I noticed this tekst in a book of mine. I can't read it unfortunate. Can someone perhaps help me with that?
The books were publised in 1938 and the tekst is dated april 1938.

It seems a quiet poetic tekst to honor the receiver, based on the few words that I can read.

I see the words:
Arbeit... Mut und entschlossenheit


I'm really curious why the books were given.

"This book can provide you that what work, energy, courage and determination, joy of life and heartfelt joy/heart happiness of a German man can create. Take it and read it often, so that the shining example of this German man wakens your emulation and will give your young and old life highest determination.
