Guys - I'm understanding this correctly? My understanding of these types of hospitals is that they were Heerestruppe and were located behind the lines to care for wounded soldiers. They were a second tier in a sense in that the feldlazarett was closer to the front. A Kriegslazarett-Abteilungen was in a position to care for the (often heavily) wounded before they could be transferred to a more permanent location for convalescence father behind the lines or even back to Germany. Can anyone help? I'm basing this off of a few internet searches and on online translation of the LdW page...
