War Reporters With The DKiG
Gentlemen,
Can you think of any German war reporters that won the German Cross In Gold? I know Leutnant Johannes-Matthias Honscheid who won both the DKiG and the Knight's Cross in 1945. So far he was the only war reporter to win the Knight's Cross. Bruno von Kayser,the famous ball dancer before and after the War,won his DKiG in 1943. His highest wartime rank was Hauptmann.
German war reporters can also fight against the enemy!
