Some important sites for seeking information on German Soldiers.

Listed below are some sites that will help in obtaining personal records of soldier, unit research and locating lost members of the family!

The main site for requesting German records is the Deutsches Dienststelle. You can do a request but do not expect full records unless you are family member!

    https://www.dd-wast.de/de/startseite.html

    Theres also the Bundesarchiv:

    http://www.bundesarchiv.de/

The German War Graves Commission can be found here:

    http://www.volksbund.de/graebersuche.html

    Maybe the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz:

    http://www.drk.de/

    And International Tracing Service:

    http://www.its-arolsen.org/
