I thought I had heard of the name before. And I had. Robert E. Witter, author of Chain Dogs, The German Army Military Police of World War II, 1994/1997, contacted Heuer in the preparation of his two volumes. Heuer's interview and contributions are in the two volumes. I assisted Bob quite a bit in the first volume.
