I have a friend who's father (Heinz Gerhardt Schmeisser) was a Luftwaffe pilot. He has his Dad's dagger, scabbard and hanger, flight book and diary, service stick pin, EK 1, EK 2, bomber clasp, glider clasp, Russian campaign, RAD stickpin, wound badge - 3rd class, Czech medal with Prague bar, pilots badge, sports badge, life saving medal, Crete cuff band, 1 May 1936 tinnie, 3 ribbon bar with EK 2 - Russian - Czech occupation medal. He also has a "wedding" edition of Mein Kampf that was given to his father on his wedding day. My friend is interested in any information on his father's war record, and I have not been able to find anything. Can anyone out there help with this? I have a photo of his father in uniform (senior NCO) that I can email (can't seem to attach it).
