Ekstradowany 16.01.1948 r. ze strefy amerykańskiej za bicie i znęcanie się nad Polakami. Skazany przez Sąd Okręgowy w Warszawie 10.12.1948 r. na dożywocie za znęcanie się nad więźniami w obozie. Zwolniony warunkowo 10.12.1958 r.

Sorry I think it is written in Polish language (which I do not understand).

Would the NARA archiv be a good source to find information about him?

Where can i have a look if he got a TK ring and things like this? Are there any books you can advise?

I have a couple of frames from his RuSHA file in my personal archive. I hope this helps.

The answer to your Totenkopfring question is that you need either the various Dienstalterslisten to determine his status, or you need to look at his personnel file at NARA.

Hi Mogdala,

Unfortunately, no. The NARA German personnel file records are all on microfilm and there is no plan to digitize them for online usage at this time. All NARA research much be done on-site in College Park, MD or one of the other NARA repositories throughout the U.S.

May be some of you will have problems in reading the German text of his curriculum vitae. I tried to write down the German text:

"Lebenslauf Flossenbürg, 19.10.39

Am 31. März 1912 wurde ich als Sohn des Landwirts Paul Bauchspieß und dessen Ehefrau Ida Bauchspieß geb. Risch in Klettbach, Krs. Weimar,geboren. Von Ostern 1918 bis 1926 besuchte ich die Volksschule zu Klettbach, nach meiner Schulentlassung besuchte ich die landwirtschaftliche Berufsschule daselbst bis 1928.

Von 1929 bis zum 1.3.1933 war ich im Stahlhelm.

Am 11.3.1933 trat ich in die Schutzstaffel der N.S.D.A.P. ein. Vom 1.4.1935 bis zum 1.4.1936 war ich in der SS-Wachtruppe Weimar, am 1.4.1936 wurde die Wachtruppe Weimar aufgelöst und die Angehörigen in die Reihen der SS-Totenkopfverbände eingegliedert, wo ich auch zur Zeit noch meinen Dienst versehe.
