    Poland 1939 Casualties

    Hello all!

I'm looking for a more detailed casualty-report from the 1. Geb. Div. in Poland 1939.

Any ideas as to where to look?

    Thank you

Thank you very much, Gran Sasso Just the kind of info I was looking for

Might I ask where you came across this info?

I have seen detailed information regarding casualties of other regiments during the polish invasion down to day-to-day level, but havent been able to find anything on GJ 98.

That is a nice book! I've seen it on the internet, but my economy isnt the best! Seeing the gefallenen-liste, I simply must have it some way.

The reason I'm interested is that I have Wehrpass from this regiment on its way in, and just wanted to know how many of the soldiers were killed from this regiment.

Might I ask; Which company was your grandfather in?

                Ah, I see.

My guy was part of the 12. Kompanie. I can actually see his name in the pictures of your book (Jäger Rau)

It must be awesome, having your grandfathers Wehrpass/Soldbuch.
