Ok, once again I'm having troubles with finding the information on this soldier's Feldpost number and history. The soldier was in the Luftwaffe, his name was Fritz Simon, his rank was Obgf. is that corporal ? and his feldpost number was L62390. Any help with this would be appreciated. thanks, John H.

From 3.3.1944 until 13.12.1944 it belonged to Landesschützen-Zug der Luftwaffe 70/XII.
No other units used this FP Nr.

Does Landesschutzen-Zug mean he belonged to Home Defense Unit / Battery?

Hi John,

Yes a Local Defence Platoon. I believe raised in Luftgau XII (H.Q. in Wiesbaden).
These are difficult normally to find any info on.
