ANy idea what the date etc was? I know the date of mentioning in the Erhenliste der Deutschen Luftwaff, but not the formal awarding date.

If I understand this correctly, the objective it to list all 30,000+ recipients with detail of squadron, etc?

I don't know how many are already listed in the book (which I have) but seems a bit futile to relist all those.

I think it would be more beneficial to list those that are not already listed the published works, i.e filling the gaps of missing recipients especially the earlier recipients where no EhrenList was produced and therefore no reference information is available.

It is like the thread where someone wanted to list all recipients of the EK1.

                              Let's get realistic here.

Once again I will try to explain. All books that excist only give the lists of recipients that were mentioned in the Erhenliste der Deutschen Luftwaffe and all are without their units.

My research aims to find out the actual awarding dates that are to be found on the awarding documents and on the honor goblets themselves. Anyone who studies this, knows these dates differ. The actual awarding date was mostly a few days, upto a few weeks earlier than the publication dates in the Ehrenliste.
All recipients will probably be impossible, if only beceause not all documents and goblets survived.

By the way there is a huge difference in the number EK1 recipients and the Honor Goblet recipients
