    Need help Identifying Soldat

    Hi,

I'm finally getting around to try and Identify this individual who's name is in the AK helmet I own.

THis particular helmet's feldpost # is 48448 which belonged to Nachsch.Kp.334 that ended it's career in Tunis.

Here's the name in the helmet, Karl Stadber It appears he was a GFT ???

Please, any help identifying this individual and what happened to him would be very helpful.

    Thank you very much!

    Mike

Do you think the name could also be "Stadler" ?

You will not find one name "Stadber" in the recent German phonebook or in the Volksbund list.

A more focused picture would do wonders...

But I agree with Gerdan. It most definitely is named to 'Karl Stadler'. I think the FP number is 48449, which would be 'Kranken-Kraftwagen-Zug 93'.

Your right, terrible pics, This one is a bit better and may help

The feldpost # is 48448 and the name does look like Stadber but could be

        Stadler. Thanks for the help
