    Herbert Heck JG26

    Iam researching this Officer who served in JG26 I believe he may have had 4 victories but Im not sure any help is appriciated.

    According to the Kracker archives he was born 03/11/1909 in Barmstedt, 2/JG26, KIA 30 July 1942 in aerial combat with a Spitfire of 64 sqd RAAF and crashed in his plane .

      Just checked "JG 26 War Diary" by Donald Caldwell and he is only mentioned once, on the day he was shot down as Dave mentioned.

      He was flying FW 190 A-2 Werk Nr. 0125303 schwarz 4 when he was killed.

      Found him listed on a website as having 4 victories but could not find him listed in the Abschußliste.
