I am looking for any kind of information about Lt. Wolfgang Hermann. As far as I know he was a former infanterie officer who was transfered to the GD division - most likely Panzerregiment GD. Every info, picture or other clue is higly apreciated.

He doesn't seem to be a winner of any high end awards so chances are that there probably isn't much out there about someone who was essentially just a low ranking officer, unless he is mentioned for any reason in the 3 Spaeter books on GD or in Panzer Soldiers For God, Honour & Fatherland - History of Pz.Rgt GD

you are right - he was a Lt at the end of the war and won the EK2 and IAB.
Perhaps someone has an officers list of Panzerregiment GD. I have some items of him for example these straps (its pink although it looks more red on these pic):Comment

I have ordered both books. Its a pity I have known H.J.Jung, the author of the history of Panzerregiment GD. He was later Oberstleutnant within the Bundeswehr. But he passed away some years ago.Originally posted by hucks216 View PostComment
