Hello all.
I'm thinking of buying a EK1 document-grouping, belonging to a guy from Inf. Reg. 350/ Gren. Reg. 350.
The EK1 award-document is signed by Generalmajor Newiger.
But it don't makes sense to me! The document looks authentic enough. But Regiment 350 was part of 221. Infanterie Division (later 221 Sicherüngsdivision) and I can find no evidence that Newiger had anything to do with this division.
When looking at the document, the stamp on the citation is that of 112th Infanterie division, which is the division that Newiger led at the time. But I can't find out what the link is to Gren. Rgt. 350!
Any idea?
PS: Would anyone happen to have an example of Generalleutnant Johann Pflugbeils signature?
