hy mates, a co-worker of me is from german descent, and his granddad/opa served in the km, he only know his name the man is long dead

served on a ship, not a u-boat, survived the war

is there anyone who could give some km info i would realy realy realy apreciate it, to make the guy happy with some info on his granddad

Just tell him to apply for his grandad's service records from the WASt.

If the guy was just a regular sailor, no way any of us could tell you anything unless he was highly decorated, an officer or was killed during the war.
