Can you post a photo of the item?
I think you have the spelling of the name wrong.

You can try searching the datase of the Volksbund volksbund.de if any men with that name died around the time of the Ardennes.

Secondly, if you know exactly where the item was found, it should be possible to figure out what unit (or a small number of possible units) the man was in. Then you can see what books and documents exist about this unit, and if your man is mentioned.

Thirdly, I think all SS personel have a file at the US national archives, and you can ask a researcher there to look for the file for you, but for this you have to invest a bit of money, like 100$

I have checked the name through Volksbund. But no one is missing/died with that name.

So either has the man survived or the name is spelling wrong.
