    Fieldpost Number 40433

    Hello to all members,

I am new in this forum and I would like to help a friend to get some more information about his father who was a soldier of WW II.

He left his son some letters with the above Fieldpost number.

Is there a way to find out something about the unit he was in or maybe the places he was stationed during the war? Any answers are welcome.

To get some information about me and the research I am doing, please visit our homepage www.flugzeugabstuerze-saarland.de. I am the leader of a group which is doing research on missing pilots of WW II. We recover the missing aircraft and also the crewmembers.

    Best wishes from Heltersberg/Germany

If your friend would like to attain his fathers military records he needs to write to the DD WASt. Here is a link to their site, http://dd-wast.de/
