    The Volksbundsite gives one lemor:

    Nachname:Lemor
    Vorname:Walter
    Dienstgrad:Oberleutnant der Reserve
    Geburtsdatum:22.03.1906
    Geburtsort:Breslau
    Todes-/Vermisstendatum:22.07.1944
    Todes-/Vermisstenort:Kniaze bei Brody/Ukraine

But Panzer Regiment 15 being part of the 11.Panzer Division was in Juli 1944 in France. Maybe he was transferred to another unit that stayed in Russia?

The telefonebook gives 22 Lemor's in Germany, but being born in Breslau you could also search in Poland. If there is a veteran association of the 11.PD or the 15 PZ.Gr.Rgt. you could try there. But it's hard to search for info on lower ranks.

    Good luck.

        Oblt. Eberhard Walter Hans LEMOR
        ~dob 16 May 1905 Flensburg
~posted to Pz. Rgt. 15 12.10.1937 and as of 1.10.1939 was a Hauptmann wth same.
~posted to Heeres Luftschutzschule Potsdam as of 11.1941
        ~Major dated 1.1.1943
~identifed as a Major with "Lehrgaenge fuer Hoehere Ajutanten" on 20.3.1945

Strange that there are two Walter Lemors, but the Volksbund may have made an error. I think this is the correct man.

I have some scans I can post a little later, and an image of him. What do you have that relates to LEMOR?

If you can, send me a scan of his signature so I can compare with what I have.

BTW, there are some Gestapo reports in his file, although I have not had time to interpret them.

Korinek is a seldom german Name. That makes it easier. If you want you could do further research at this page:

              http://www.dd-wast.de/frame_e.htm

Wenzel is very common - no chance without first name and unit.

Here is a picture of LEMOR from his personnel file that you can use to compare to the images in your album.

                Cheers.
