There is no first name or first initial? There's 9 pages of KIA Grosche's on the Volksbund also Grosche is my Ur-Oma maiden last name and it is a really common name over there. My Ur-Oma had 4 brothers that served, 2 Luftwaffe, 1 SS and 1 U-Boat. I’ve attempted to do research on them and you will definitely need birth dates.

Thanks Chris, I thought maybe.... as he was a Uffz and a Member of FJR 1 early on there might be a chance of some ID .

In the recent German phone book you will find 491 entries "Grosche"...

It is Wilhelm Grosche (Born in 1916, Hannover), he is the only Grosche that served in the 8./ FJR 1 (1939).
