LW flight cap markings

I recently purchased a Luftwaffe flight/para enlisted dress cap, dated 1936, and, under the sweatband is stamped: FL.GR. GOPP, underneath is stamped H.K.P. I
Assuming it means Flieger Gruppe Gopp, any ideas as to what this was? Thanks.

vielleicht GÖPP. ? dann könnte es heissen FLIEGER GRUPPE GÖPPINGEN.
