I recently picked up a KM peacoat with all the original insignia except the breast eagle. The wearer was an Obgef., torpedo mechanic and there is a name tag sewn onto the inside. The last name reads HERTZSCH. I looked up the name on the Uboatwaffe website and found two matches, one who this jacket could have belonged to. Does anyone have access to crew listings for surface vessels or shore units? I appreciate any help.
