Greetings.
I am looking for any maps, showing the positions of the german forces arround Kastornoje / Kastornoye in the Voronezh Area during the fightings in early 1943, especially of the 5. Batterie, Artillerie Regiment 168 (Battery No. 5 of Artillery Regiment 168).
My uncle Hans Arndt (ID Tag: - 1454 - 2. Ers. A. R. 168) was serving at this unit and is MIA since 28. January 1943 at Kastornoye. I am trying to get any informationes what happened to him or where he was seen last time and probably died.
If anyone got any maps or information which could help, anyone ever did diggings in the Voronezh Area or knows anyone who did or will do and could make contact, it would be wonderfull.
Sincerly
Christian
