    Who is this GENERAL

I am trying to ID this General Officer. I can not read his writing.

This photo is from an album of an officer who was with 11./15 I.R. (Mot), and most of the photos are of the French campaign and the occupation of France. This General was a competition Rider and other than that I can't tell you any more.

    Thanks,

    Chuck

The general is wearing the Bulgarian Order of St Alexander III Class. If he received it during World War I it would have been awarded under Ferdinand I or if between 1918-1944 it would have been issued under Boris III. Since he is wearing the Spange for the Iron Cross 1st Class I would guess he received the Bulgarian award during WW I.
