Right, that makes sense with the other information i can find about 507. I really dont think that is a 7. Could it even be something other than Küsten Batterie?

That "7" is bit hard to read, but in my eyes it clearly says Küsten Batterie.
If dates on those "Nord Finnland" entries are wrong, then he could have served in HKB 507 during that given time period. It is of course just a theory, but I have looked allover my unit listings and I am pretty sure there was no unit with number 184 or even 507 that would match.
I think he transferred from HKB 507 that was in Estonia to "Fuhrer-Reserve/AOK 20" in Finland.
Anyway, I hope I will get it by the end of the week and I will scan the rest of the pages then.

Well, this Kgf.arbeits btl.184 is the only thing i can see that comes close. I know various POW work\construction units were moved to and from Norway\Finland when they were needed and we know he left the artillery branch in 44 anyway.
I really need some kriegsgliederungen for 20 Geb.armee for 42\43, i've got them on order with NARA but they'll be a month or two yet.
By the way, several of the independent artillery abteilungen within the army were created from HKB batteries.Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
