The "Der Führer" regimental history by Otto Weidinger:

    "Comrades to the End"- English
    "Kameraden bis zum Ende"- German

Also various award recommendations for GC holders of 10./DF in volumes 1 and 2 of "German Cross in Gold Holders of the SS and Police" including Olf, Pilgerstorfer, etc.

History of the 4th SS Panzergrenadier Regiment 'Der Führer'
One of the original infantry regiments of the pre-war SS-Verfügungstruppe 'Der Führer' was formed in Vienna 1938 and fought throughout the war as a component of the division 'Das Reich'. Der Führer was among the most successful and highly decorated regiments within the Waffen-SS and German Werhmacht. From its creation from primarily Austrian recruits it saw action through the western campaign, the bitter battles of Russia, reaching the suburbs of Moscow in 1941, and was almost destroyed, later to Normandy and finally in Austria where it defended Vienna helping thousands of civilians out of the city to safety in the west. At the end of the war it was one of the last battle ready units of the Waffen-SS. It surrendered to the Americans in May 1945.

I think I'd go with books for accuracy and detail over Wikapedia

After the invasion of Poland in 1939, the three regiments SS "Deutschland", "Der Fuhrer" and "Germania" were grouped into one division, the SS-Verfügungstruppe ( "Troops for Special Operations"). "Das Reich" took part in the Battle of France in 1940 under its former name. After participating in the taking of Rotterdam, intercepted a French force and pushed into the region of Zeeland. He was sent to eliminate small pockets of resistance ally behind German lines. He was later moved south to help the German advance towards Paris. At the end of the campaign, the division "Verfügungstruppe" ( "Das Reich") had reached the border with Spain.

At the end of the campaign in France, the Regiment "Germania" was sent to the Division organized yet SS 5.
