I know JG51 used a bow and arrow but so did other units. Is this a photo taken in Norway?
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

Thank you for your reply Simon. Parts of the album is from Norway but I am not sure if these pictures was taken there.
From the album as it seems that these soldiers are working as electricians or telecommunications technicians. Since several of the pictures shows that they install cables on poles in the open.

The second picture is from the same album. Does this give a hint on what unit the soldiers belong to? Zug is the same as train I believe.

      Regards,
      Stian

          Hi Johnny,

Thank you for your reply. I believe the picture is of a LW soldier. It relates to the other photos in the album and they are all Luftwaffe related.

One more picture that shows the bow and arrow. I believe the sidecaps shown is Luftwaffe.

          Regards,
          Stian
