I am trying to match up an RKT who was an NCO and was commissioned to serve as a Hauptmann in Artillerie-Regiment (motorisiert) 33 he did not have a DKiG.

Hello, I am sure it was for Artillerie-Regiment (motorisiert) 33, formed in Italy after Africa under the 15 Pz Gren. Div. so After Summer 1943. The unit was formed from the 52nd AR and other units. This is always very hard to identify people because officers from rebuilt units were pulled from all over the place. No Afrika CT or DKiG and he was a NCO before he was commissioned, the Waffenrock has been upgraded or an officer.
