WH car in Norway 1942, unknown unit insignia

Can anyone recognize the insignia painted on the car fender? I have a huge porcelain plaque with the same insignia in my collection.
    (Possibly a engineer/Bau-abteilung?)

It was actually used by several units- Also Regimentsstab der Nebeltruppen z.b.V. 4 and Schweres Werfer-Regiment 2.

If it was taken in Norway the 295th is the best match but it would post-date Stalingrad

If it's Norway it most certainly isn't the 267 ID

A number of units used this symbol including the 295 ID which was reformed in 1943 in Norway but this might not be it.

I've also seen this symbol in connection with Norway on porcelain

I think it may be a German regional symbol that was used in many contexts, it shows up also on the top of tents as hand carved wood horses. Maybe good luck as well.

            Simon!

Picture is dated 2 april 1942, and the place is 100% sure outside Moss Hotel. The same car is also pictured on Lillehammer.

              710. Infantery Division had two horses as a symbol. But I can't remember it like this. I have a couple of photos with the same insignia, they are from the Trondheim.
