Help with researching SS untersturmfuhrer at sachsenhausen

Ref: SS Officer A. Ruele - Untersturmfuhrer at Sachsenhausen

Hi,

im new to this forum and im desperate to find out if a SS Untersturmfuhrer officer named A (I do not know his Christen name just initial) Ruele was a officer at Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp during 1943.

I have emailed and written to various places in Germany but no answer, i was wandering if anyone can advise/help me find out please as its driving me mad whether or not this man is real as i own an item i brought from a Mlitaria Fair with his name and rank engraved on it.

Hi Neil,

Can you recheck the spelling of the name on your military item? I checked the name against the SS and Sachsenhausen records at NARA and could not find a direct match with the initial and surname.

Better still if you can post an image of your item. Since you don't have the rights to do so, you can email me the image and I'll post it for you.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for replying to my message on Wehrmacht-Awards.com regarding the SS Officer at Sachenhausen, i have emailed you to the address on your message.

I did make a mistake and spell his surname in incorrect, so his christen initial is A and the surname REULE not Ruele.

I hope this helps and you can help me track this man down to prove he existed in 1943 at Sachenhausen and post and image on the site.

I have sent you an attachment of the cigarette case and whenever i take a picture of the engraving inside the picture does not come out but his initials are on the front with a deaths head, it all seems to good to be true really this case but i wanted to find out and i was not sure where to look records etc..
