    Blockade Runner award doc

    Hello Guys,
    I've two question about the followin doc.:
    1- What means the (V) after the rank of Kapitaenleutnant?
    2- Who signed this doc and which was tha unity of this officer?

    It means Verwaltung, ie. supply officer
    Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

      There is no information on your award document that gives a unit.

      I don't know the man's signature.

      His rank says : Kapitän zur See und Abteilungs Chef.

            Wehrgeistiger Führungsstab (WF)



            Formed on 18 Oct 1943 in the Allgemeine Marinehauptamt and was responsible for the co-ordination and assignment of NS-Leaders of the Kriegsmarine to naval units, ships & U-Boats. These officers were responsible for Propaganda and the ideological and political conduct of the Kriegsmarine. From 01 May 1944 it became subordinated to the Chef der Kriegsmarine-Wehr.
