ss rank ?

Hello, I have a medics Personalausweis filled out to an "Obertruppfuhrer", dated June 1943.
It is authorised by an Oberstfeldmeister which I understand is an RAD rank.

I never took too much notice and thought it was just a regular army guy, but now I realise that "Obertruppfuhrer" is possibly an SS rank ?

There are no other SS markings on the pass.

So is ther much chance he could be SS with the rank of Obertrupphuhrer in June of 1943 ?

As You pointed out it is RAD
The ranks from low to high were:

Vormann
Obervormann
Truppführer
Obertruppführer
Unterfeldmeister
Feldmeister
Oberfeldmeister
Oberstfeldmeister
Arbeitsführer
Oberarbeitsführer
Oberstarbeitsführer
Generalarbeitsführer
Obergeneralarbeitsführer
Reichsarbeitsführer

One might ask, with all those ranks, who was doïng the work ;-)
