Can anyone help me to identify these two GJ Generals? The photo was taken in Greece 1941 - am I right in thinking one of them is Boehme?

I think I have worked it out. After having had a good look through the photo album and the soldier's movements it looks to be from a member of GJ Rgt 141 which belonged to 6 GJ Division - CO at the time was Ferdinand Schoerner, and the 6 GJD was under XVIII Gebirgskorps at the time which was commanded by Franze Boehme, so it looks as if the two of them are on some sort of unit inspection/'victors' tour. -
IMO, the General of the right is Ludwig Küble, Generalmajor of the 1. Gebirgs Division (1938-1940)Comment

Do you mean the right hand side as you look at it or from the photos view? I think the one on the right as we look at the photo is definitely Schoerner as he is wearing glasses in the picture. I've only seen a couple of portrait photos of Kubler and he wasn't wearing any. And as this was taken after the fall of Greece, Kubler was with XXXXIX Gebirgskorp that was repositioning in Slovakia in May/June for Op Barbarossa as part of 17 Armee (Source: Lexikon). As Schoerner's division waas part of Boehme's Gebirgkorps for the Greek campaign I'd still go with those two.Originally posted by wschmidt View Post
