Does anybody know of a good starting point to try and track down the names of Knight's Cross winners who fled to Chile after the war?

I have purchased medals from a dealer in Santiago, Chile over the years. I don't know if he is a member of Wehrmacht-Awards, but you might try to contact him through his web site: www.Militariastar.com

His name is Kurt Brinkmann. I would be interested in seeing what you find out as I lived in Chile for 2 1/2 years in the 1960s. Most Germans in Chile migrated there in the 1890s. Most Germans after WW II migrated to Argentina, Paraguay and Brasil, but some certainly made it to Chile.
