Help with a odd FPN in a LW Soldbuch - 71.441

Hello all,

I am posting this for a good friend of mine. He recently acquired this Soldbuch and would like to know if anyone has any information on what unit this Feldpost number was assigned to. Notice that there is a dot inbetween the 1 and 7 - 71.441.

FPN 71441 never existed, and FPNs starting with a 7 weren't in use until 1944...

One theory is that it is a early "Tarnstempel" - used to hide/disguise the units true identity.

Hopefully someone here can help shine some light on this one!
