    Streirischen Heimatbund

    Hello,

    Im not sure if this is the right forum to post this,does anyone know what the Streirischen Heimatbund is?I have sevaral documents with the Streirischen Heimatbund letter head on them,I was just curious what this organization did?

    It was a German organization - Steierische Heimatbund, formed in Untersteiermark (Štajerska, region of Slovenia) with purpose to germanized Slovenes. From StH were formed also para-military units for fighting against Partisans.


    Could you post those documents?

      thanks for the information,it is very interesting-I have 6 documents total relateing to the Streirischen Heimatbund,these are all in a personalakte file i have for a RAD officer who was also a WW1 vetran,and a member of Der Stalhelm,the NSDAP,and SA (there are more documents from this file relateing to his SA activity posted in my thread "SA related documents translation needed" in the paper and photo forum)I will post 3 documents now and 3 latter when i have the time-if you could let me know any interesting details from these documents i would apprecaite it!
