    Hello

    Can´t see any picture...

Edit: Now, with the edit button I can see it.

Nobody can say that this SdKfz belonged to the wallons, because you can`t see any markings on it.

The wallons don`t have a Sturmgeschütz Abteilung !

In the time period 01.06.1943 - 18.09.1944 (SS Freiwilligen Brigade "Wallonien", SS Sturmbrigade "Wallonien", 5. SS Freiwilligen Sturmbrigade "Wallonie", they had a 9th coy with nine StuGs, named 9. (Sturmgeschütz) Batterie. Coy commander was SS-Obersturmführer Pierre Dengis.

Later on, after the rebuilding to Division, they had a StuG batterie. It was the 3rd coy og the SS Panzerjäger-Abteilung 28.

The wallons lost all (!) vehicles in the pocket of Tscherkassy (Korsun).
All vehicles (inkluding the SdKfzs) they used during the great parade in Brabant, Charleroi and Brussels after the returm from Tscherkassy were borrowed from the 12. SS Panzer Divisiopn HITLERJUGEND.
The column with all borrowed vehicles during this parade was 17 kilometers long !!!

Here you can see one SdKfz in front of the bourse of Brussels.
(In the center (standing) Leon Degrelle with his new knights cross. On his right side his Adjudant SS-Untersturmführer Wastiau.

    Markings at wallon vehicles:
The marking at vehicles should be some kind of Burgunder Knotenstöcke. (Burgundy cross)

For further informations in german, please have a look at www.degrelle.de.vu and see: SS-Leitheft 10.Jahrgang; Heft 6, 1944.

Feel free, to ask in german with PM.

    Best regards, Fronti
