    Luftwaffe base in Rechlin

During the war, my father was stationed at Rechlin. My mother also worked on the base. Eventually both meeting and marrying. I was born April 10, 1945. The day that the allies bombed Rechlin, my mother giving birth to me as the base was being bombed. Later the German destroyed much of Rechlin so iot wouldn't fall into Russian hands.
I am looking for information further on this base, maybe a drawing of the airfield, also the path taken by allied bombers to and from Rechlin. Also if anyone has any Soldbuchs, Wherpass, etc. with Rechlin, and possible Robel, Germany. Would be interested in photos of same. Also units stationed there. Thanks, MT

        Thanks

I still have family living in Robel, and Warren. I'm hoping with some help to follow my fathers years in the Luftwaffe, starting with Rechlin. I wish I had asked earlier in life when he was still alive. Those that knew my mother and father, friends and family during this time are all gone. I have a few pictures of him in uniform, and some of the things he mentioned and told me. Thanks for the help. I will pursue it further.
