    Obltn. Breyne DKiG

Can somebody give me some more information about Oberleutnant Robrecht Breyne (°14.07.1922)? He was awarded with the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, probebly during the battle for Stalingrad. According to the Volksbund he died on 05.12.1943 in Monte Cassino.

Yes, so Breyne got the DKiG without a doubt?
You say he hat the German nationality, does this mean he was Reichsdeutsch?

        Here some info on "Reichsdeutsch".

If his nationality was German he must have been "Reichsdeutscher". Only when he would have come from former German areas he could have been "Volksdeutscher". As we do not know from where he came from we should say he is Reichsdeutscher.
