Info on 12th SS tank commander

I'm looking for info concerning: Heinz Kaufhold
Unit info listed as: Panther Tank Commander 12th SS HJ Div.

He's a veteran of Normandy and was featured on a Military channel TV show. Any info would be appreciated.

Here is the only military biographic document I could find at NARA. There are two men Heinz Kaufhold who share similar details, although this was the only one in armour.

I hope this helps a little bit.
