Hi I am enquiring about a SS officer Rudolf Grun who was serving in 10 SS-Standarte in late 44, SS-DAL okt 44 can anyone please provide any info on these units and what they were involved in?

I can't give you much but here goes.
The 10.SS-Standarte was based in Kaiserlauten, after having been formed in Neustadt. It's popular name was 'Pfalz'. It was part of Oberabschnitt Rhein. The 10th was Allgeimeine-SS.Comment

Thanks David, do you know what the 10th involved was it a panzer corp or infantry and what size they were in strength , I dont know much about these SS units and what they contained,any help much appreciated.What would be the best site to access any more info on this unit?
