Hi,
Some time ago i found such ID tag in front of a bunker near Skrunden (Kurland). The commander of this company was Hauptmann Ernst Grunau http://waffenhq.de/biographien/biographien/grunau.html ( Panzer Division 14 ) There is some possibility, that this ID tag belonged to him.....May be somebody had info about number of his ID tag...May be some info is in Biblio Verlag book about Panzerwaffe Ritterkreutztrger , I haven't this book. May be somebody have more information about Ernst Grunau....all the information is interesting. Thanks in advance.
