Initially based in Breslau, it moved to Brünn on January 10, 1941. On May 1, 1943, it became SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Ausbildungs- und Ersatz-Bataillon 10, the replacement unit of the recently formed 10.SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Division that later became the 10.SS-Panzer Division “Frundsberg.”<o>

When you see the word Ersatz it means that the battalion (or the regiment...) is an unit of training and replacement. Usually these Ersatz units did'n see action during the war.

Thanks, but there were done a dozen years ago. They're eclipsed by what I've done more recently in far more detail.
