    Sturmgeschützbrigade 210?

Anybody know anything about Sturmgeschützbrigade 210? I stumbled across their insignia on the internet, but haven't been able to locate anything about them other than a couple of blurry photographs of said insignia on vehicles.

I grabbed it for use as an avatar, because it just happens to bear a striking resemblence to my initials. Now I'm curious.

    To boot:

( http://www.die-sturmartillerie.com/ is everything about Sturmgeschütze, run by my friend and fellow member von Aufsess)

By the way, CH means Chef (commander).

A photo from winter 1941 - most likely this gun belonged to the commander of 3. Batterie, Oberleutnant Pelikan. The gun barrel has 13 kill rings.

        Excellent, thanks

Is the CH a unit insignia for the 210th as a whole, or just a designation for commanders in the 210th?

CH is only for commanders. The other guns used A-F in 1941 (roundish alphabet is particular to this unit). The unit marking was Tigerkopf (Tiger's head), as shown in the page mentioned above.

Though blurry an example is shown in http://www.history.jp/wehrmacht/008-09.jpg (unit marking is found on the left fender).

It still makes for a good enough icon for the moment.

            Thanks for your help!
