    Unit help

I want to research the unit whose markings are on this bayonet frog, I believe it is a luftwaffe reconnaissance unit stationed at the air base in Bad Voslau Austria. Any info on this unit or websites that could help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not so firm in Luftwaffe units but i think this (and the link on the page) can help you research:

If you can see which was stamped over the other you'll know if the frog belonged to the Fliegerhorst kommandanteur before or after the aufklärungsgruppe. 1./Aufkl.Gr.12 we know was formed from Aufkl.Gr. 112 in oct.37 so that part is Ok.

It looks like the top stamp is the most recent one, also I would say the bayonet isnt original to the frog as the bayonet is a 1940 and therefore to late for the frog stampings if the unit was vhanged in 1937

The top stamp can't be the most recent as 1./Aufkl.Gr.12 came after it.

A bayonet and a frog cannot be original to each other, they are two seperate items that weren't issued together. A bayonet is a serial numbered weapon, the frog a piece of personal equipment. That the frog is pre-war doesn't mean the bayonet didn't join it before the end of the war.
