I need to get some info on a WW2 US vet named William R Gibson from Jeannette, PA. I do know a little but not alot. He was a captain / pilot in the 9th Airforce and was over in Europe. He flew 83 MISSIONS
, how is that even possible 
. I only know that because of the newspaper articles included in the grouping. I have his ID # 13057756. He turned MIA, then his brother "Jack" enlisted and became a navy pilot and I believe fought in Japan. Theres no service logs for the group and I was really hopinig to find out more on both brothers, missions, etc... Thank you for your help in advance.
Is there also a good place to search service records? I can't find a good one to use.
