Unit markings on a Spanish Cross?

I wonder if anyone can throw any light on the scratched markings on a Silver Spanish Cross in Silver with Swords, that I own.

It has a name that look like Haroaber & further markings 3 Ln (or Lh) obal .

    Any ideas???

    Regards,

    Neil

I do not think it stands for this, but I will add that the abbreviation for Luftnachrichten is LN and there were quite a few LN units in Spain.

        Thanks Erich/Ian

Ian, yes it looks more like a 'd' rather than an 'a' under a 20x lens.

How can I find out more about this unit??

I will be rather chuffed if it is a Luftwaffe awarded cross.

        Regards,

        Neil

          Legion Condor

I search in my books about LEGION CONDOR and few thinks
I found about the Luftnachrichtenabteilung (mot) 88 this is the signal unit in the Legion Condor with 4 companies

This is a german lenguage web with dates about the unit.

          http://www.luftnachrichten.de/Ln_einsa.htm

I have the dates and names about all people death in Spain for this unit
and I can found pictures for this because today in Spain they are several books about Legion Condor history and pictures but few about organization.

I have a group of a then-Gefreiter Gerhard Koch (finally Hauptmann d.R.) who spent his time in L.C. in 3./88 (his Wehrpaß says: 1. Luftfunklehrkompanie in Halle) who received Spanienkreuz in Silber. I have a lot of photos and documents and most of his medals but not Spanienkreuz...
