Does anyone know of any good site out there to research a specific Soldier of the German Army during WWII? My wife's grandfather was killed during WWII as a member of the Wehrmacht, and I would like to research what unit he may have served with, and if possible, what decoration he may have earned. I know from
years of collecting U-boat relics that the submarine service has vast records,
but they were considerably smaller than the Army.
