Heinz-Eberhard Opitz

I have just purchased a membership card in a civilian organization that belonged to Heinz-Eberhard Opitz.

I'm told that Opitz was a Ritterkreuzträger. Does anyone have any biographical information on Heinz-Eberhard Opitz and best of all a photograph of him?

Thanks for the reply, Phil. I found that webpage also. I also found that same information on several other websites but nothing more than the basic facts. I am hoping someone has a bio of him including how he won the KC and hopefully a photo of him.
