I an doing research on a Hauptscharfuehrer "W. MILTSCH" who was a Totenkopf "Schirrmeister" in a concentration camp.

He probably lives in Ohio like all the rest of them?

I would ask Mike Constandy about German sources.

There must be US papers on the guard names they knew were affiliated with the camps.

Some years ago there was a trial in Frankfurt/M Germany, where a witness called Walter Miltsch who was a former car driver in KL Mauthausen took part.

Thank you. This is a big break. Do you remember which newspaper reported this and what the circumstances were? Is there anything else you can remember which might be of some help.

The W. Miltsch I am seeking information on wears the silver wire bordered Schirrmeister patch on his lower left sleeve so he may very well be the fellow you have provided the information on.

I have actually been able to learn quite a bit about Walter Miltsch who transported inmates to be euthenized (psychiatric patients etc.) under a program known as "T4" and "Aktion 14f13".

When I learn more I will report it here. Any other info. from others is still very much appreciated.
